Most industrial buyers still treat prefiltration like a commodity line item. I think that is lazy, expensive thinking. Nylon mesh bag filters, especially monofilament designs in Size 1/2 housings, do real work when solids loading is inconsistent, downstream cartridges are expensive, and operators need fast change-outs without turning a simple prefilter into a maintenance trap.
